Welcome to our Second Baptist Church website. As the pastor, I am glad you are here. At Second Baptist we strive to learn more about Jesus through His word, the Bible. We study Jesus so that we can love Him more and love our neighbors more. Jesus tells us, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus also teaches us that everyone is our neighbor. At Second Baptist we believe this, therefore, we pray for the opportunity to display the love of Jesus to you in person.
We have small classes that meet Sundays at 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. These are great times to get to know us in a smaller setting. Our larger gatherings are on Sundays at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm where you will hear verse-by-verse preaching from God’s word. On Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, we meet for a special time of church prayer and Bible study. We also have a variety of other ministries that meet at different days and times throughout the week.
